SEEC/CREA - NDSoR: Work Session - Reading Curriculum and Professional Development Annual Report (Option 2) - Virtual (September 17th, 2025)

NOTE: This opportunity is being offered twice.  If you are unable to attend this session you may register for the September 8th virtual work session from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM here.  The content will be the same at both sessions, so you only need to register for one of the options.

DESCRIPTION:

This work session will help K-3 schools to meet Section 15.1-21-12.1 of the North Dakota Century Code (NDCC) regarding reading curriculum and professional development supports improving core reading instruction for students in North Dakota.

All teachers and principals serving students in grades K-3 will:

1) Receive training in instructional practices that align with scientific research on how the brain learns and engages in reading.

2) Utilize scientifically-based instructional materials and approaches.

DELIVERY: This work session will be delivered VIRTUALLY over Zoom for 2 hours.  The work session will NOT be recorded.
