DESCRIPTION
This session will review best practices in assessment within an MTSS framework for academics and behavior. Definitions and purposes of assessment, including universal screening, diagnostic assessment, progress monitoring, and outcome assessment will be discussed. This session will also include information about factors to consider when choosing assessments and will reference many of the assessments that are currently used in the state of North Dakota for data based decision making in MTSS. This is an introductory assessment session that may serve as a precursor to the Assessing to Inform sessions that will go deeper into specific assessment tools (i.e. AIMsweb, FASTbridge, STAR, etc.)

DELIVERY: This 2-hour training will be delivered VIRTUALLY. The link to join the online training will be sent out prior to the session.
NOTE: This event is offered at two different times to offer participants the flexibility to join at the time that works best for them. Participants will register for ONE of the options offered.
