NDMTSS - Developing Academic Pathways (2023-2024) [Multi-Day Series] [Flyer]

REGISTRATION: This series is for schools who have previously completed NDMTSS Building Your System. An MOU is required to register for this event. When clicking "Register" you'll be directed to the MOU for completion. The MOU then needs to be sent to Cheryl Hoggarth, SEEC, (cheryl.hoggarth@k12.nd.us) to officially complete your team's registration. DESCRIPTION: This training, intended for a leadership team, is designed utilize the NDMTSS Essential Components to solve problems at the school, classroom, and student level. Emphasis will be given to translating current educational research practice to help schools maximize resources and outcomes for all students. Examples of data systems for universal screening and progress monitoring will be identified, as well as specific interventions and curricula to address problems at a systems level.

OBJECTIVES: 

  • Identify current gaps in student outcomes based on grade level data 
  • Evaluate appropriate pathways for students to increase academic achievement 
  • Develop strategies for solving problems at increasingly larger levels 
  • Increase awareness of evidence-based interventions and curricula

DELIVERY: This professional learning series will be offered as a combination of 1 one-hour virtual kickoff, 4 full-day face-to-face sessions, 2 two-hour online coaching calls, and a spring site visit.

PRESENTER:  Wayne Callender (national RTI consultant at Partners for Learning)

AUDIENCE:  School leadership teams of 6-10 individuals; including Administrators (REQUIRED to have at least one); special educators; instructional coaches; MTSS coordinators; lead teachers; counselors.

CREDIT:  2 graduate continuing education credits available for application through VCSU after participating in all required sessions/activities and submitting the application fee.

Virtual Leadership Sessions and Coaching Calls will be hosted via Zoom.

Full-day face-to-face sessions will be hosted at the North Dakota Farmers Union building.

Pricing

COST: $4,800/team of 6 (+$160/person over 6)

Your school will be invoiced for the total provided on the MOU that your school submitted.
